Mobile robots
Autonomous, low-cost robot swarms offer an attractive solution when various tasks must be carried out in dangerous or hostile environments. Systems composed of autonomous mobile robots are flexible and potentially fault-tolerant. The robots must perform a common task, such as gathering at a point, exploring or covering an unknown area, or forming a shape. The goal is to develop and analyze local algorithms for robot swarms for a variety of tasks.
