Marta Alexy PhD has been working at the Faculty of Informatics of Eötvös Loránd University since 2014. She obtained a degree in agricultural engineering at the University of Agricultural Sciences in Debrecen, followed by a PhD in animal sciences. In 2013, she supplemented this with a degree in economics at the Corvinus University of Budapest. After that, she worked for almost ten years in the agrifood sector, where her main task was the development of livestock technology in large-scale pig and poultry farms. On her initiative, in 2016, agricultural informatics research was started at the Faculty of Informatics. Since the beginning of 2019, she has been a senior lecturer at the Department of Data Science and Data Technology, teaching applied biology. Professional leader and coordinator of agri-food projects. Since 2019, she has been participating in the training of the Precision Agricultural Engineer at the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Szeged, as a co-teacher of the subjects of precision animal farming and precision nutrition.
