Main research areas
My area of research is related to problems and issues connected to information systems; to examine the reliability issues of information systems and the services they provide, including consistency, integrity, availability. The formal description of different information system models and architectures with mathematical tools that can be operationalized, algorithmically executed. Model verification and model program generation is one direction of our research. Examining process organization, modeling, and execution as well as the reliable operation of service-oriented architectures in an enterprise / institutional environment. For obsolete, old, and information systems to be upgraded, the research focuses on the data architecture layer, database schema, and the investigation of ontologies matching, mapping, and migration using state-of-the-art data science and machine learning methods. Investigation of the usability of different information system modeling approaches and architectures in the case of health and financial IT systems is a further research area.
