One of the main focuses of my research is multi-camera object tracking, with a particular emphasis on tracking multiple animals while maintaining identification labels and automating annotation and segmentation of the specimens. Automatic annotation greatly facilitates the processing of such footage and enables research in other scientific fields that would take years to label using manual annotation methods. My research is based on methods from various areas of artificial intelligence, including deep neural networks, computer vision, machine learning, and image processing techniques.
