Share Your Views on Open Science
The annual IE/National Informatics Associations workshop will be held on 26 October, as part of the ECSS 2022 in Hamburg. With the theme of "Open Science and the Future of Research Dissemination in Informatics", we invite you to complete a pre-workshop questionnaire.
This year's workshop will feature sessions on "Rethinking the Role of Informatics Conferences", "Open Access Publication Models for Informatics" and "Open Data and Research Data Management in Informatics". In preparation for the workshop, the session chairs have helped us prepare a small pre-workshop questionnaire, by which we would like to poll your views on a number of issues related to these quite topical themes. The questions are mostly asking your opinions on a number of statements as simple Yes/No choices or as numerical assessments on a scale of 1-5, but you also have the opportunity to provide additional textual feedback. Completing the questionnaire shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes if you only fill in the tickboxes, but more in-depth explanations of your views would of course also be most valuable to inform the session planning.
It would be most helpful if you could provide your views on the questionnaire by the deadline of Sunday 9 October. You are also most welcome to forward this request also to other colleagues in your network.
