Precision Agriculture

In 2016, we founded the Precision agriculture research group at the ELTE Faculty of Informatics. Our goal is to support large-scale, intensive food production through the practical application of relevant IT disciplines. Our projects focus on on-site research using data science methods, including artificial intelligence and machine learning models, primarily for large-scale livestock systems. We collaborate with farmers and industry partners, as well as with agricultural universities and agribusiness stakeholders to conduct our interdisciplinary research. Our ongoing projects cover large-scale poultry farming and beekeeping, and focus on the optimisation of ERP systems.
