The SPECTRO project aims to develop high-level educational programmes in cybersecurity and robotics, within a dual master’s framework, which will contribute to the training of Europe's digital experts and foster innovation and business development in these industries. Students will acquire technological skills that play an important role in industrial automation and the protection of networked systems and digital information. The training focuses on critical areas of cybersecurity and robotics, such as post-quantum cryptography, novel encryption methods, and the integration of artificial intelligence into robotic systems. The master’s programs apply an interdisciplinary approach, allowing students to develop both their technological knowledge and entrepreneurial skills, with opportunities for professional practice through international mobility programs.

The project also aims to combine digital infrastructure with cutting-edge virtual laboratories and simulation systems to enable students to expand their practical knowledge through state-of-the-art technologies. SPECTRO places special emphasis on building close collaboration with industrial partners, who provide real-world business problems for the students to solve.

ELTE takes a leading role in developing the cybersecurity master’s program, which includes the teaching of most up to date technologies. The university is creating teaching materials that focus on the latest challenges and solutions in cybersecurity, including encryption techniques, network protection methods, and the secure management of digital data.

ELTE is also involved in the development of online learning modules and digital infrastructure, allowing students to participate in courses remotely. The university supports the practical application of digital technologies by providing virtual laboratories and simulation tools, through which students can apply their knowledge in realistic settings. Additionally, ELTE offers courses that help students turn their technological solutions into marketable products and services, while also supporting students in gaining practical experience on real projects through collaboration with industrial partners. As one of the leading participants in the international partnership network, ELTE has access to the latest research findings, enabling the integration of the most recent technological developments into the education programs.
