The aim of the project is to innovate the fire prevention industry by integrating digital twins and machine learning technology. The current solution of the deep-tech startup Detectium enables very-early detection of fire both in indoor and outdoor environments by using 3D visualisation to fuse data in real-time from multiple sensors and present the cohesive model to the client and fire brigade during a fire. The next steps of the development are adding ML solutions for fire recognition to the backend to improve 3D modelling and data visualisation and making an app for customer needs. ELTE IK Department AI NIPG Research Group provides R&D solutions for gaze-direction-based data collection, segmentation and instance map generation. They also supply data augmentation methods for minimising the amount of data to be collected for not known objects. Moreover, they facilitate the integration of their system into Detectium's working solution for global market entry and scalability of our solution in addition to future-proofing it.
