Bosch x Richter Industrial Innovation Award
The Bosch Group, Hungary, and Richter Gedeon Plc. have launched the Bosch x Richter Industrial Innovation Award in 2024. The aim of the competition is not only to encourage innovative thinking but also to inspire young people studying in higher education to create ideas and innovations that will significantly improve the healthcare and mobility sectors in Hungary.
Discover the future today! If you're an ELTE student with an idea in the fields of mobility or healthcare that you want to develop or implement, don’t miss out on this unique opportunity. You can enter the competition either as an individual or as a team of three. The prize for an individual entry is a net amount of HUF 1 million, while the prize for a team entry is HUF 500,000.
Application categories
Entries can be submitted individually or as part of a team in the following categories:
- Innovation in the field of mobility
- Innovation in the field of health
In each of these categories, the jury will select one individual winner and one team winner, resulting in a total of four prizes awarded.
An innovation or innovation solution can be know-how, software, development, design, invention, or a utility model (whether or not it is eligible for legal protection).
Examples in the field of mobility: Ideas for sustainable transportation, Ideas for intelligent transport systems, Ideas for urban transport reform, Ideas for user experience and safety, Data-driven mobility, Sustainability in car manufacturing, Sofware-based vehicle functions.
Examples in the field of healthcare: digital services and apps, AI-driven methods for patient support in diagnosis and treatment, development of telemedicine and remote diagnostics, personalised medicine, patient safety and user experience, robotics and automation in healthcare, sustainability in pharmaceutical care, other innovations to improve the efficiency of healthcare.
Who can apply?
Applications are open to all students enrolled in higher education in Hungary, at bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels, in any work schedule, who are active students at the time of application. Applications may be submitted individually or in teams of up to 3 students in the appropriate categories.
Awards
The Bosch x Richter Industrial Innovation Award and, where applicable, the special prize will be awarded to individual applicants with a net value of HUF 1 000 000 and to team members with a net value of HUF 500 000.
