Please note:

1. Stipendium Hungaricum students on level BSc and MSc are not eligible for Erasmus scholarship.
2. If you are fee paying student, you have to pay the tuition fee also in the Erasmus semester for the Faculty of Informatics.
3. In case of student exchange at a partner university you have to fulfill at least 20 credits at the partner university – if you cannot, the scholarship has to be paid back.
4. If your Aggregated corrected credit index is under 2,00, you are not eligible for Erasmus, if it is between 2,00-2,5 it is also very little chance to get the scholarship.
5. Residence permit in the host country is your responsibility, also the health insurance + liability insurance for the whole exchange period.

First step regarding PhD mobility is to find a supervisor at the host university/company. PhD exchange happens usually in the form of traineeship application.

In case of traineeship:
In case of traineeship you have to find a company within the EU (except Hungary), who gives you a Letter of acceptance, and then you can apply.

In case of traineeship we do not work with strict deadlines: if you find a receiving company, you can apply.
The committee decides every 2 months about traineeship scholarship, so please apply 3 months before the planned beginning date of the scholarship.

Duration of the mobility: Minimum 60 days, maximum 150 days, at least 30 hours/week
Do not forget, that if you need additional financial support, you have to apply for it at the same time with the traineeship application!

There are 2 opportunities:

1. Traineeship during your studies: you have to be in active status, that means, you have to pay the tuition fee for ELTE as usual.
2. Traineeship after graduation (it is also for SH students possible): You have to apply before the date of the absolutorium. You can start the traineeship after the date of absolutorium. (It is no problem, if you start later, but you should finish it 1 year after absolutorium. You can apply for 5 months.

For the application you need to send to csaniko@inf.elte.hu following documents: application form, Letter of acceptance from the receiving company, residence permit, transcript of records, CV, motivation letter.
Optional: application form for additional financial support (if you do not submit this form, you cannot apply later for additional support.)
