The Bosch x Richter Industrial Innovation Award is being held for the third time, with the aim of encouraging students at Hungarian higher education institutions to think innovatively and inspiring young talents to develop forward-looking, sustainable solutions that can make the world a better place.
Discover the future today! If you're an ELTE student with an idea in the fields of mobility or healthcare that you want to develop or implement, don’t miss out on this unique opportunity. You can enter the competition either as an individual or as a team of three. The prize for an individual entry is a net amount of HUF 1 million, while the prize for a team entry is HUF 500,000.
Application Categories
Entries can be submitted individually or as part of a team in the following categories:
Innovation in the field of mobility
Innovation in the field of healthcare
In each of these categories, the jury will select one individual winner and one team winner, resulting in a total of four prizes awarded.
An innovation or innovation solution can be know-how, software, development, design, invention, or a utility model (whether or not it is eligible for legal protection).
Examples in the field of mobility: Ideas for sustainable transportation, Ideas for intelligent transport systems, Ideas for urban transport reform, Ideas for user experience and safety, Data-driven mobility, Sustainability in car manufacturing, Sofware-based vehicle functions.
Examples in the field of healthcare Digital services and applications, AI-driven methods supporting patients in diagnostics and treatment, Modern solutions, digital tools in drug research and clinical trials demonstrating the effects of drugs, Personalized medicine, Patient safety and user experience enhancement, Robotics and automation in healthcare, Sustainability in drug supply, Other innovations aimed at increasing healthcare efficiency
Who can apply?
Applications are open to all students enrolled in higher education in Hungary, at bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels, in any work schedule, who are active students at the time of application. Applications may be submitted individually or in teams of up to 3 students in the appropriate categories.
Awards
The Bosch x Richter Industrial Innovation Award and, where applicable, the special prize will be awarded to individual applicants with a net value of HUF 1 000 000 and to team members with a net value of HUF 500 000.
