Dear Informatics Students!
Danastra Ltd. provides a unique opportunity for Students of Eötvös Loránd University, Faculty of Informatics to earn project experience within Professional Practice Program. Participants who successfully fulfilled project requirements will gain certification of completion according to the University’s regulations in force.
WHAT WILL YOU DO ON A DAILY BASIS?
- Actively participate in delivering a next generation mobile application
- Gain deep understanding of the OpenStreetMap platform
- Design and implement logical structure of Maps within the application and provide rendering solution
- Communicate with other project stakeholders
WHAT ARE OUR EXPECTATIONS FROM YOU?
- Experience in Android/iOS mobile Application development is a must
- Knowledge of OpenStreetMap based solutions, libraries (especially Mapsforge) is a big plus
- Excellent programming skills (java or objective-c essential)
- Programming experience in UI or route planning is a big plus
- Attention to details, ability to produce clean, production quality code, and possess an eye for style and usability
- Ability and willingness to acquire new knowledge fast and independently
- Minimum advanced, preferably fluent English knowledge
- Positive, can-do attitude and ability to work on own initiative
- Good communication skills (effective and clear communication), ability to work closely linked to project stakeholders
- Enthusiasm about geo-analytics is a big plus
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile project environment
